Terms of Use

Welcome to Veevo Health. Veevo Technologies, Inc., doing business as Veevo Health ("Veevo," "we," "us," or "our"), provides the services described below. By accessing or using our website, mobile applications, and services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Disclosures. If you do not agree, you may not use our Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

2. Important Health Disclaimers

Veevo Health is a wellness and educational platform — not a medical provider. Please read these disclaimers carefully:

  • Not medical advice: The content, insights, analysis, and recommendations provided by Veevo Health — including through Viva, our AI health assistant — are for informational and educational purposes only. They are not intended to be, and should not be interpreted as, medical advice.
  • AI limitations: Viva uses artificial intelligence to provide personalized educational insights. AI-generated responses may contain inaccuracies and should not be relied upon as a sole source of health information. Always verify important health information with a qualified healthcare professional.
  • Consult your doctor: Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health provider with any questions regarding a medical condition. We strongly encourage you to share the educational insights from our Service with your doctor.
  • Emergency situations: Our Service is not designed for emergency use. If you think you may have a medical emergency, call 911 (or your local emergency number) immediately. Do not rely on Veevo Health or Viva for emergency medical guidance.
  • No FDA evaluation: The statements made about our Service and any software, service, or AI models have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) or any other regulatory body. Our Service is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
  • Calculators and estimates: Tools such as the Heart Age Calculator, CAC Percentile Calculator, and any other estimation tools provided through the Service are for educational and informational purposes only. These tools use statistical models and published reference data to generate estimates that may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inapplicable to your individual circumstances. Results are not a diagnosis, risk assessment, or clinical recommendation. Veevo does not guarantee the accuracy of any estimate, score, or report generated by these tools, including any emailed reports. You should not make health decisions based solely on these estimates.

3. About Veevo Health

Veevo Health is not a healthcare provider. Veevo Health is a health technology platform that provides:

  • (a) Veevo Health App: A wellness application for tracking and viewing health data, including blood test results, logged metrics (blood pressure, blood sugar, weight, diet), wearable device data, and AI-powered health insights through Viva
  • (b) Preventive Health Screening Services: Facilitating access to preventive health screening, including diagnostic imaging (such as coronary CT angiography, coronary artery calcium scoring, carotid imaging, and other modalities) and related services, coordinated through independent licensed physicians ("Affiliated Providers")
  • (c) General Health and Wellness Information

All medical services associated with our screening services are provided by independent licensed physicians and their affiliated practices. Veevo provides administrative coordination, technology, and data display services only.

Our services do not replace your relationship with your primary care physician.

4. Your Account and Responsibilities

To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
  • Maintain the security and confidentiality of your login credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
  • Accept responsibility for all activity under your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of the health data you provide (including blood test results, health metrics, and screening service intake forms). Inaccurate data may result in inaccurate insights.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, other accounts, or systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without our written permission
  • Upload content that is harmful, offensive, or infringes on the rights of others
  • Use the Service to provide medical advice to others or represent yourself as a healthcare provider

6. Health Data and Privacy

We never sell your health data. Your use of the Service involves the collection and processing of personal and health information as described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the collection, use, and processing of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.

By using our Service, you authorize Veevo to: collect and store the health information you provide; transmit it to Affiliated Providers, imaging centers, and laboratories as applicable; receive copies of your results; retain your data on the platform for ongoing access; and use de-identified, aggregated data (with all personal identifiers removed) for research and product development.

When you connect third-party services (such as Apple Health or Google Health Connect), you authorize us to receive data from those services according to the permissions you grant. You may disconnect at any time.

7. Preventive Health Screening Services

This section applies only if you use our preventive health screening services.

7.1 How Screening Services Work

  1. You complete an intake form providing your health history, risk factors, and consent.
  2. You pay the applicable service fee.
  3. Your information is transmitted to an Affiliated Provider for clinical evaluation.
  4. The Affiliated Provider independently determines whether the requested service is clinically appropriate.
  5. The Affiliated Provider may decline to order a service. This is at the Provider's sole clinical discretion.
  6. If approved, we coordinate with the imaging center or laboratory.
  7. Results are reviewed by the Affiliated Provider, who communicates findings and recommendations to you.
  8. Your results are stored securely on the Veevo platform for your access.

7.2 Cash-Pay Services

By using our screening services, you are choosing to obtain services on a cash-pay basis outside of any health insurance plan or federal or state healthcare program. You are solely responsible for all costs. Neither you nor Veevo will submit claims to Medicare, Medicaid, or any other government healthcare program.

7.3 FSA / HSA Eligibility

Veevo Health screening services may be eligible for reimbursement through your Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or Health Savings Account (HSA). We will provide an itemized receipt to support your claim. Eligibility varies by plan — check with your plan administrator. Veevo Health does not guarantee reimbursement.

7.4 No Guarantee of Service

Veevo facilitates access to clinical services but does not guarantee any specific test will be ordered. All clinical decisions are made by independent licensed physicians exercising their sole clinical judgment.

7.5 Physician-Patient Relationship

When you use our screening services, a physician-patient relationship is established between you and the Affiliated Provider — not between you and Veevo. The Affiliated Provider is responsible for meeting the applicable standard of care. Veevo is not a party to the physician-patient relationship and is not responsible for clinical decisions.

7.6 Fees and Refund Policy

Service Fee: Charged at time of intake. Covers the clinical services associated with your requested screening.

  • Provider declines to order: full refund
  • Cancellation before intake submitted for clinical review: full refund
  • Cancellation after intake submitted but before service performed: full refund minus administrative fee
  • After service performed: no refund

8. Intellectual Property

Our Service and its original content, features, and functionality, including text, graphics, logos, software, and AI models, are the exclusive property of Veevo Technologies, Inc. and its licensors, protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

By using our Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use the data you provide solely for the purposes described in our Privacy Policy, specifically, to operate, improve, and personalize the Service and, using de-identified and aggregated data only, for research and development. This license is subject to applicable law, including the CCPA/CPRA. This license does not grant us the right to sell your personal information or health data.

9. User-Submitted Content

If you submit content, such as through community features, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, and irrevocable right to use, reproduce, and display such content in connection with our Service. For health data submitted through Viva conversations, uploaded results, and other health-related information, the perpetual and irrevocable nature of this license does not override your statutory rights to request deletion under applicable law, including the CCPA/CPRA right to delete and the Washington My Health My Data Act. You are solely responsible for the content you submit.

10. Disclaimers of Warranties

Our Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

We do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any information, insights, or AI-generated content provided through the Service. Any reliance on such information is at your own risk.

Veevo is not responsible for clinical decisions made by Affiliated Providers. All medical services associated with screening services are provided by independent physicians and third parties.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Veevo Technologies, Inc., its affiliates, directors, employees, agents, and licensors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service.

Our total liability to you for any and all claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim or (b) one hundred dollars ($100).

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

12. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Veevo Technologies, Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party rights; or (d) any content you submit through the Service.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it through the app or by contacting us. Upon termination:

  • Your right to use the Service will immediately cease
  • We will handle your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy
  • Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law) will continue in effect

14. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be resolved through binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association, governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Arbitration shall be seated in San Francisco, California.

You waive your right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by notifying us in writing at legal@veevohealth.com within 30 days of creating your account.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms with a revised effective date and, if appropriate, by email notification. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service.

16. General Provisions

  • Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
  • Entire agreement: These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Disclosures, constitute the entire agreement.
  • No waiver: Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver.
  • Assignment: We may assign our rights without your consent. You may not assign without our written consent.
